Ok so Jeff questioned me yesterday on how if I have so much time on my hands, nothing to do, then how come my blog never gets updated? Interesting observation, I thought. Let's see-I just had a baby, I have a total of four kids in the house, well, five really, I'm back to work, taking two online classes...hmmmm, not sure why it doesn't get updated! Alright, just kidding Jeff. I don't really have much of an excuse besides the fact that I don't want my blogs to be all about my kids and that's what my life consists of at this point. So, I've been trying to come up with something more interesting. Since I haven't been able to come up with anything as of yet, I'll just give you this-a pic of Josiah's first smile at me!

I will try my best to update more often but I won't promise you anything. It sure is nice to know that you are interested in my blog, Jeff! Thank you for your continued support-I shall do my best!

If I ever run into her...

I just want to say one thing-if I never see a Progressive car commercial again, it would be too soon. I don't know if that makes sense at all, but all I know is that chic has got to be the most annoying lady on television commercials to date. I probably wouldn't actually do anything to her, but maybe let her know that her commercials suck and I don't care how much money she's making to do them. Another one is that stupid Weight Watchers 'Momentum' commercial about hunger following you wherever you go-yeah, can't stand that one either. Just thought I should let you all know that and get it off my chest!

Please don't lose hope

I know it's been forever since I've had a new post. I need to get a cord for my camera so I can add pics to my posts cuz it makes them a little more interesting. I'm pretty sure me just talking is not that exciting. Well, maybe to some of you. Anyways, I figured I should just write something so that you all had something new to read and maybe wouldn't give up on me. So, hopefully in the next few days, I will have something new and interesting to read. That's the plan, anyways.

But, as most of you know I went to Minnesota the weekend before last. It was a great time. First of all, no kids! You can't get any better than that for four days. Add to it, seeing my sis and her hubby, going out to eat, playing Shanghai with the fam, and topping it off with the Vikings game Sunday night! Yeah, it was definitely the best weekend I've had in a long time. I have to say it was fun to be around Bear, too. He's an awesome dog.

So, I have a little more than a month until my due date. Pretty crazy, huh? So far, so good. I'm going to the doctor every week now so that's when you know you're getting close. Not much time left for a baby shower...

Other than that, I have one class left to finish for this semester so I'm pretty excited about that. Then, Christmas break and baby shortly after! I promise to get a new post soon, with pics, since it is that much more interesting.

Pretty frickin' amazing

It never hurts to ask...

So, I have some exciting news-no, I'm not pregnant again. Well, I am but I think you all know that already. Now, this may not be exciting to everybody but it is to me and that's really what it's all about, right? As you might know I'm taking online classes through UND and I'm taking two this semester, Criminology and Sport Sociology. As I was adding my points through the semester for my Criminology class, I came to the realization that I would probably have to settle for a 'B' in the class. I was ok with that until I took the final test and did much better than originally anticipated. That brought me within 3 points of an 'A', 3 points! All my work was graded and I knew that there was no way I could accept a 'B' that was only 3 points away from an 'A'. So, I emailed the professor and asked him what I could possibly do to make up those points. He told me to send him an email with my assessment of the course, what I liked and what I thought he could do better. So, I immediately did that, of course. I received an email from him this morning in which he said that he would give me the 3 points for my effort! Thank you very much. I know, I rock. I just wanted to share that with you all because I must say I was pretty proud of myself and I thought you might want to be proud of me too.

Busy, busy, busy!

So, I know I haven't posted in a minute. Last weekend, my mom, sisters, and I had our girl's weekend which was wonderful. All we did was shop and eat. I don't think anyone would argue with that. It was actually like a vacation for me which is kind of sad but with my life, not doing homework or having my kids for a weekend is a vacation. But, now this week I'm paying for it because I have two tests and a lot of homework to finish. That's what I've been doing all week so I have had virtually no free time. The great thing is after my test Saturday, I will be done with my Criminology class! Then I can have a little more time to spend on my blog and hopefully make it a bit interesting. That way people might actually want to read it. We shall see. I'm pretty sure no matter what I do, my B-I-L, Justin, will give me shit which is fine with me. I'm good at dishing it out too! Stay tuned. I promise I'll get better.
